Impressive Concert - Swarajhari - Vijayawada

Peddada Surya Kumari - Kakinada won the hearts of music lovers with her robust and tuneful voice and pure traditional style. She used her lung power to maximum advantage and showed exemplary abitlity in all manodharma ascepts.
Peddada Surya Kumari started her recital with Varnam in vasantha and followed it with Abista varadha in Hamsadhwani finishing it with sparkiling swaras. After rendering soulful Annamacharya Kirtana's in Dharmavathi, She sang Bantureethi in Hamsanadham projecting her manodharam ability amply in the Alapana, nerval. In between she also rendered a papanasanam sivan, composition in Jonpuri. The main item Shambo Mahadeva was preceeded by Tatvamerug tharama in garuda dhwani in fast tempo. Pantuvarali declanation was a showcase of excellent phrases presenting the Raga portriat in bright colors and apappealing raga, bhava. The nerval and swarakalpana again showed Peddada Surya Kumari's depth of musical scholorship.

Pleasing Vocal recital - Vijayathyagarajasabha - Vijayawada

Peddada Surya Kumari started her recital briskly with varnam in Vasantha and Sustained the tempo by singing Vinayaka - Hamsadhwani, Nanugannathalli - sindukannada and Sriramapadama - Ammrithavaahini evocatively before she exquisitely elaborated Bantureethi koluveeyavayya rama - Hamsanadam. Her aalapana , neravu and swaram in the two speeds were sensibly structured, in vigorating the emotions ecstatically embedded in the lyrical content

Scholarly Neravu and Swaram

Note artist Peddada Surya Kumari of Kakinada gave vocal recital For Visakha Music and Dance Academy in Kalabharathi, Visakhapatnam recently. Getting off to rather shaky start with Kedaragowla varnam , peddada suryakumari soon settled into a tunefully evocative mood rendering GANAPATHE - kalyani of Dikshitar. Srimannarayana of annamayya set in Bowli and Entavedukondusaraswathi manohari of Tyagaraja. Then emerged a soul – tickling aalapana of Hamsanaaadam for Bantureethi koluveeyavayya Rama. It was equally rendered and concluded with scholarly Neravu and swaram in two speeds . The rendering of Tatwamerugatarama - Garudadhwani of Tyagaraja suffixed with innovatively coined Swaram emanating the characteristic sliding and gliding gamakas, sharply mirrored an adept adaptation of some of the attractive graces of western music. Then followed an absorbing rendition of the main item Sambhoomahadeva of -pantuvarali of Tyagaraja .This scholarly neravu and swaram in the two speeds attracted loud applause from all alike.

Fluent Exercise

Peddada Surya Kumari of Kakinada Presented vocal recital at NADA SUDHA Bagh amberpet,Hyderabad. Endowed with good voice ,Suryakumari revealed a fluent Style.She began with a vasantha varnam and went on to sing Ganapathe Mahamathe in Kalyani, Sarasasamadana-in kapinaarayani, Srivaralakshmi of Muthuswamy Dikshitar, and Rama Nanubrova. Suryakumari’s Kharaharapriya was well Elobrated exercise. She chose annamacharya's kirthana okaparikokapari in this raga her neraval and swaras are fluent. Then she sang TATWAMERUGATARAMA in Garudadhwani well.Pantuvarali was the main melody of the evening,which she treated with respect. The declanation shaped up well.. She choose Sambho Mahadeva of Thyagaraja. In this raga she projected its great Sahitya Bhava. The swara kalpana was neatly done with the melody in tact. Annamayya composition Antaryami-in Sivarangini proved a perfect finish.
